What we collect, why, and how to make us stop.

This policy covers signpost-online.co.uk. For anything in it, including any request about your own data, write to editor@signpost-online.co.uk and it will be answered within one month.

What We Collect

• Analytics: pages viewed, approximate location at country level, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Aggregated, and not used to identify you.
• Affiliate tracking: following a link to a casino passes a tracking code identifying this site and the page as the referrer. It identifies the page, not you.
• Correspondence: if you email us, we hold the email and our reply.

We do not ask for an account, we run no contact form, and we do not collect payment details of any kind. There is nothing here to register for.

Cookies

We set no advertising or profiling cookies. Analytics and affiliate attribution may set a cookie on your device. The casinos you click through to set their own, governed by their policies rather than ours. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and this site will still work.

Legal Basis and Retention

Analytics are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Correspondence is processed on the basis of dealing with your enquiry. Analytics data is retained in aggregate; correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful and then deleted. We do not sell personal data, and it is shared only with our analytics provider and the affiliate networks operating the tracking links.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to any personal data we hold about you, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing. Write to editor@signpost-online.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

Material changes to this policy are reflected in the last updated date on the page.
